# Planetary Strike Tournament App Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the **“Terms”**) govern your access to and use of the Planetary Strike Tournament Discord application, bot commands, tournament registration features, and related services (collectively, the **“App”**). The App is operated by Claim To Fame Games, LLC, an Orlando, Florida company (**“Claim To Fame Games,” “we,” “us,”** or **“our”**).
By installing, accessing, or using the App, including by submitting a tournament registration through a Discord command, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
## 1. Eligibility
You must be permitted to use Discord under Discord’s own terms and must be at least 13 years old or the minimum age required to use Discord in your country, whichever is higher. If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to them for you where permitted by law.
You may not use the App if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
## 2. What the App Does
The App supports Planetary Strike tournaments and may allow users to:
- view open tournaments;
- register for a tournament using a Discord slash command;
- submit or display a tournament display name;
- receive registration confirmations and tournament notices;
- view brackets, match status, standings, podium results, and leaderboards; and
- access related tournament pages operated by Claim To Fame Games.
Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or removed at any time.
## 3. Discord and Other Third-Party Services
The App works with Discord and may connect with services operated by Wix or other service providers. Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord’s own Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other applicable policies.
The App is independently operated by Claim To Fame Games. It is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by Discord. Discord is not responsible for the App or these Terms.
## 4. Tournament Registration and Participation
When registering for a tournament, you agree to:
- provide an appropriate and reasonably accurate display name;
- submit no more than one registration per person for a tournament unless tournament staff expressly allow otherwise;
- comply with the rules, schedule, eligibility requirements, check-in procedures, and instructions announced for that tournament;
- compete fairly and refrain from cheating, collusion, match manipulation, harassment, impersonation, or disruptive conduct; and
- promptly notify tournament staff if you can no longer participate.
A registration confirmation does not guarantee participation, seeding, scheduling, prizes, or continued eligibility. Tournament staff may accept, reject, cancel, reseed, or remove a registration when reasonably necessary to administer an event, enforce rules, address technical issues, or protect participants.
Specific tournaments may have additional official rules. If tournament-specific rules conflict with these Terms on a tournament-administration issue, the tournament-specific rules control for that event. These Terms continue to govern use of the App.
## 5. User Conduct
You may not use the App to:
- violate any law, regulation, Discord policy, server rule, or third-party right;
- harass, threaten, defame, discriminate against, or impersonate another person;
- submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, obscene, or malicious content;
- probe, scan, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or circumvent the App or its security controls, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law;
- use scripts, bots, automated requests, or multiple accounts to create registrations or manipulate results without our written permission;
- obtain or attempt to obtain another user’s data or access credentials; or
- interfere with tournament staff, participants, brackets, scores, or leaderboard records.
We may investigate suspected misuse and may restrict or terminate access to the App or associated tournaments.
## 6. Display Names and User Content
You retain any rights you have in content you submit through the App. You grant Claim To Fame Games a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote, and document the App and its tournaments.
Tournament display names, bracket positions, match outcomes, standings, and podium results may be displayed publicly on Claim To Fame Games websites, Discord channels, broadcasts, promotional recaps, or other tournament-related materials. Do not submit information you do not want used for those purposes.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that its use as described above will not violate another person’s rights.
## 7. Privacy
Our collection and use of information through the App is described in the Planetary Strike Tournament App Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described in that policy.
The App is designed to use limited Discord information needed for tournament administration, such as your Discord user ID, server display name or selected tournament name, server and channel context, tournament selection, and registration status. Do not submit passwords, payment information, private messages, sensitive personal information, or other information the App does not request.
## 8. Intellectual Property
The App, Planetary Strike, associated artwork, logos, software, page designs, text, and other materials provided by Claim To Fame Games are owned by or licensed to Claim To Fame Games and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the App under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
Discord names, trademarks, and services belong to Discord or its licensors.
## 9. Availability, Changes, and Technical Issues
We may perform maintenance, change features, impose limits, or suspend the App without notice. The App may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors due to software, hosting, Discord, Wix, internet, or other technical issues.
We may correct bracket data, registration records, standings, or leaderboard results when we reasonably determine that they contain an administrative or technical error. Tournament staff decisions regarding corrections and event administration are final to the extent permitted by law.
## 10. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. You may request deletion of eligible personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access, remove registrations, or disqualify you from an event if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, tournament rules, Discord policies, or applicable law; created a safety or security risk; disrupted an event; or misused the App.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute provisions—will survive.
